Joseph Nichols is president and senior principal engineer of Striker Design Solutions, an oilfield equipment engineering and design company located in the energy corridor of Houston, TX. Joe is a graduate of Texas A&M University, where he received a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering. After graduation in 2007, Joe launched his career in North-West Houston where he began developing his expertise in custom Land Drilling Rig design. His focus was primarily on fast-moving drilling rigs in the 1000 horsepower to 2000 horsepower range, which led him to further specialization in drilling structure skidding and walking systems.
